DIurex 50ml

DIurex 50ml  (Compare to the active ingredients of Nature Vet Diurex®) is a diuretic agent used to reduce blood volume and pressure’

volume and pressure.

COMPOSITION:  Contains Ammonium Chloride 5.4 mg/ml

ACTIONS:   Ammonium chloride causes transient dieresis (excessive urine production).  When administered before exercise, diuresis results in a reduction in blood volume which may help reduce the incidence of exercise-induced pulmonary hemorrhage (EIPH).

INDICATION:   Reduction in blood volume results in a reduction in the exercise-induced rise in pulmonary arterial pressure, pulmonary arterial wedge pressure and also capillary pressure.  Elevated pulmonary pressures are implicated in causing EIPH, thereby reducing pulmonary pressure which may help reduce the incidence of EIPH.

FOR:  Horses, Dogs and Camels

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:  Adult horses:  Administer 50ml by slow intravenous 4-5 hours before strenuous exercise.

PRESENTATION for:  50 ml sterile glass bottle.

STORAGE for DIurex 50ml:  Store at below 25 C (air conditioning) and protect from light.

NOTE for DIurex 50ml:  This product can be used with any other Vitamin or supplement from Racehorse Meds.  This product is best used the day before and the day of the event.  This product compares to Nature Vet® Diurex in that both have the same ingredients.  This product is not manufactured or distributed by Nature Vet® who is the sole distributor of DIurex 50ml
